Mirror, mirror on the wall who's the piggiest of them all?

One day brother pig looked at sister pig and said, "You look mighty ugly". So sister pig ran off and started to cry. Brother pig felt good. He felt big and bad. He made it a habit. All the little sister pigs felt so sad and so ashamed. Some of them made fun of each other to ease the pain. But nonetheless when they went home and looked in the mirror they saw pig. For a pig is but a pig.
One little sister pig who had some black spots on her pink skin started making fun of all the other sister pigs who had brown spots. She laughed and joked all day long. She thought brown and pink are so ugly together. And when she looked in the mirror all she saw was a pink little piggy who had the glossiest black spots around town. 
One day a tall and shiny donkey came rolling around town with his new family. All the sister pigs and brother pigs had never seen a donkey in real life before. Such a dream. The very first time. The mean little brother pig could not contain himself. He ran as fast as he could. He ran to the little sister donkey. He said to sister donkey,"You are the most beautiful donkey I have ever laid eyes on." "Thank you," said sister donkey. "Can we go out some time?", asked brother pig. Sister pig replied, "You know all the pigs I have come across are so ugly and pink but you are so sweet that I am willing to give you a chance." Brother pig felt so ecstatic. He felt special because sister donkey liked him best. 
Brother pig found a new sense of confidence. He walked around bashing all the other sister pigs. He says to them," why can't you be more like sister donkey." The sister pigs felt so sad they could do nothing but cry. For how could they change from pigs to donkeys. They could not understand. 
One day the little sister pig with the glossy black spots strolled through town with a new brother donkey. She said to the other brother pigs,"If y'all were as handsome as brother donkey y'all would be able to take me on a date". All the brother pigs ran home crying. For how could they change from pigs to donkeys. They could not understand. 
For what will it take for the little sister pigs and the little brother pigs to understand that when they look in the mirror they are but little pigs nothing more and nothing less. Let the donkeys be donkeys. You are a pig go be pig. If a pig makes fun of you for being a pig then they haven't looked in the mirror. For a pig can never birthed a donkey. And pig is pig regardless of the colors of its spots. Making fun of another pig's spots does not make you less of a pig. A pig is a pig as a donkey is a donkey. They all bleed red.

Somewhere along the way I dropped something. I can't remember what it is. I don't even remember the exact time. But for sure I dropped something. I wish I were told when I did. But who else can I blame but myself. In a world full with pretense that everything is okay, being the the bleeding pen doesn't hurt as bad. Spilling ink as if there was an unlimited source of ink. Spilling like there is no tomorrow. The color looks so beautiful as the sunlight hits the ink. It feels good to feel something other than pure bliss and the occasional frustration. It feels like I am alive. I have fallen off cloud nine only to be met by broken glass. I didn't see it coming. It hurts a little, maybe a lot.  It felt like a sting. No, more like the reaper somehow took a piece of my heart. I whisper to myself, I will be okay. I have to be, because a broken heart could be my demise.

As the saying goes...

As the saying goes, luck is when preparation meets opportunity. Let's analyze. Preparation can be described as training or development. Are you training? Are you building yourself? For some reason it seems to be hard for people to grasp the fact that they have to work hard to get what they want in life. While you go out partying with "Susie"every night, Susie is getting home late after partying to study and work hard. She will go to bed at 4 a.m. working hard while you will go to bed at 4 a.m. because you are up watching Netflix. Don't let Susie hinder you from your success because Susie will never tell you that she has to work hard to get what she wants. Susie herself doesn't believe she is working hard enough. Susie thinks her success is luck but if you knew it all you would understand that Susie's success is based solely on hard-work. "If  a man will not work, he shall not eat."

Take the Garbage out!!!

If you are with a man who you feel needs to change who he is simply to make you happy and not for his own good, let that man go. He is not for you. A man who is packaged for you will be so right for you that you will want him with all his flaws. You are whole as a human being. Stop looking for someone to complete you. A person can only complement you. It does not matter how nice someone seems if the person is causing you emotional or physical pain, let that person go. The same rule applies to everyone that comes into your life. If you have a friend who is constantly asking you to change to fit their narrative of what a friend should be, throw that friend away. That friend is not yours. That friend is somebody else's. The reverse can also be said. The only reason you should be asking someone to change or someone should be asking you to change it is if and only if you have a particular habit that is negative and needs an update.
