"Squid Game" was unexpectedly what we were all waiting for

 Yoohoo!

Today’s topic? "Squid Game".

This was definitely a wild ride

I did not think that I would like this one at all

I saw the slapping episode and I was like why in the world would anyone want to be slapped for money.

But of course these characters are not only broke and poor, they are in debt.

They owe everyone and their mama some money.

So this first game happens and I am telling my family what is this?

Why did you tell me I would like this?

And she goes trust me, you will like it.

And I am like, the like part isn’t here yet.

Mind you I would have never clicked on a show like this on my own.

So it gets to the episode where everyone is working together to win the tug of war game and I was immersed.

The show did a perfect job of showing you how prejudice exists in the world against women and old people.

During games where people had to pick partners they were willing to leave the women beyond so they could survive.

But why are we surprised they were even willing to kill their own friends.

It was as they say in my native country, "Chien manje chien" kind of world

Which basically translates to dogs eat dogs kind of world

Please comment who your favorites were and who irritated you the most.

My favorite characters were the Sae-byeok the North Korean, player 67

Abdul Ali, Player 199, and ofc the main character,

And Seong Gi-hun, player 456

The players that I really hated were Cho Sang-woo, Player 218.

I was so pissed off when he tricked Ali and stole all his marbles.

He is a loser. He couldn’t win fairly so he lied and stole from his friend. DISGUSTING!

I hate hate hate him.

And of course the Jang Deok-su, Player 101 for obvious reasons. He is way too thirsty and a savage. Someone I would never befriend or smile at.

And Ms. Crazy Lady Han Mi-nyeo, Player 212.

She got on my nerves the entire movie up until she decided to take one for the team and jump off the glass bridge with Jang Deok-su eradicating them both from the game of life. Right there I couldn’t hate her anymore.

But OMG she was acting way out of line the whole show.

Other than that, the games themselves weren’t too bad. If it weren’t for the erasure of human lives involved it would be a fun reality game show to be on.

My favorite games were of course the tug of war, the red light green light game, and the sugar cookie or Dalgona shape cutting game.

Because in that game no one was given any rules to how to play the game

And I really liked how player 456 figured out that he can lick the bottom of it and everyone else followed suit and he essentially saved some people. That would be a fun game to play in real life.

The saddest moments included when player 67 had a piece of glass lodged in her abdomen.

I was really sad because she essentially made it so far only to be eradicated by shards of glass.

Overall this show was definitely an 8/10 which is really good. It could have gotten a 10 but the gore is kind of a turn off because people were getting eradicated for no reason or what I view as no reason. For example how one of the employees got erased for showing his face in a dire situation.

Thank you so much for reading! I will see you very soon. Au revoir!

Research Before You Talk.

Knowledge is a powerful thing. The more I learn, the less I believe. I remember one line from my elementary school's national anthem, "Where learning is the key...The key to set us free". An impulsive human is an easy attack. "Lay a trap with bait and wait." Getting upset over everything that happens in the media is a problem. They know that you are weak so they will keep setting traps. Your inner dreams and desires make you weak and predictable. You cannot be afraid to lead. Be your own leader. We can't all follow the monkey. As the saying goes monkey see, monkey do. But we can't keep being monkeys. What if your leader is wrong? Research it. Don't just follow blindly. Find a logical reason as to why you believe what someone told you is true. Find the facts behind the information. Was it a true statement? Sometimes people have their own version of the truth and just because everyone believes it does not mean it is true. Your version of the truth doe...
