For a Lost Soul

She doesn't have time on her side. She thought she did. She knows she is on her own for no one can help a lost soul. One more strike and she is out. You can't feel any pity for her for she is unworthy. Unworthy of love. Unworthy of beauty. Unworthy of friendship. A kind soul once she was. Someone everyone desired to be. She has been drowning lately. Drowning deep beneath her shut eyelids. She can do nothing but dream now. For that is all she has. Her own subconscious. From time to time she calls out to her guardian, she wishes there was a god somewhere in this vast universe. She is lost soul. She might need saving but she is on her own and she knows that. For this last time she breathes. She accepts her fate. She is a lost soul. So broken that she cannot be repaired. She wishes there was god. For if there was a God, she would be saved. She falters again. Not surprising. She has been falling for a while now.  "So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceasele...

Research Before You Talk.

Knowledge is a powerful thing. The more I learn, the less I believe. I remember one line from my elementary school's national anthem, "Where learning is the key...The key to set us free". An impulsive human is an easy attack. "Lay a trap with bait and wait." Getting upset over everything that happens in the media is a problem. They know that you are weak so they will keep setting traps. Your inner dreams and desires make you weak and predictable. You cannot be afraid to lead. Be your own leader. We can't all follow the monkey. As the saying goes monkey see, monkey do. But we can't keep being monkeys. What if your leader is wrong? Research it. Don't just follow blindly. Find a logical reason as to why you believe what someone told you is true. Find the facts behind the information. Was it a true statement? Sometimes people have their own version of the truth and just because everyone believes it does not mean it is true. Your version of the truth doe...

Shea Moisture: Hair Hate ad

You know what? Businesses are in the business of making money. At the end of the day you have to think to yourself I am supporting this brand at my own discretion. You never know what you are signing up for. They made a marketing faux pas. They are wrong. But I doubt they care about the consumers as much as we would like to think they do. If they could they would sell us air in a bottle. What can we do about it? Not much. Just silently stop buying their products if you want but they will continue to make money regardless of if the business failed. They are already millionaires. It's a hard pill to swallow. I know. But take it how it is. I am upset for those customers who invested more than $100 every 3 months on their products for years. I understand why we are upset. And we should be. But again that is showing weakness. You become an easy prey. Don't let these companies eat all your dollars and feel pride for stepping on you. Just silently move on. Although I must admit talk...

Mirror, mirror on the wall who's the piggiest of them all?

One day brother pig looked at sister pig and said, "You look mighty ugly". So sister pig ran off and started to cry. Brother pig felt good. He felt big and bad. He made it a habit. All the little sister pigs felt so sad and so ashamed. Some of them made fun of each other to ease the pain. But nonetheless when they went home and looked in the mirror they saw pig. For a pig is but a pig. One little sister pig who had some black spots on her pink skin started making fun of all the other sister pigs who had brown spots. She laughed and joked all day long. She thought brown and pink are so ugly together. And when she looked in the mirror all she saw was a pink little piggy who had the glossiest black spots around town.  One day a tall and shiny donkey came rolling around town with his new family. All the sister pigs and brother pigs had never seen a donkey in real life before. Such a dream. The very first time. The mean little brother pig could not contain himself. He ran as ...

Loving Her

So subtle. I hear you breathing. My heart beats a little faster. I can't bear the thought. The thought of losing something so dear. Something that I have been grooming for decades. The time. The number of hours, days, months, and years. I can't fathom that I would lose myself in you like this. But love you at the risk of losing myself I cannot do.

You Have That Power!

My shoulders are heavy. Heavy with an intangible weight. When you are feeling weight down, take a breather and assess your life. Is there anyone that shouldn't be a part of it? Is there something that you are doing that you don't like? Is there anything that you can change? Maybe you need that 9-5 job but is there something that you could be doing at 6pm to improve your life? Maybe you could finally pick up those ingredients and create your own soap. Maybe that bar of soap could be your way out of a life of sadness and tears. There are many doors. But you can't just sit there and expect people to show you the way. The internet is available to you. Google whatever you would like to know. Remember the saying knowledge is the key to success. Do something productive. Don't just sit around moping because time waits for no one. Not even you.

Soul Match Made Possibly in Heaven

One thing's for sure he wanted her as much as he wanted to breathe. She is beauty in its wholeness. She embodies everything beautiful. As if she was made just for him. She was perfect, at least perfect in his eyes. Her soul was wondrously made. He knew within the first moments of speaking to her, she was the one that he would want to spend the rest of his life with. He wanted to care for and love her as much as he loved himself or possibly more.
